I take an individualized approach to nutrition. Conventional nutrition recommendations have always followed a one-size-fits-all model. The problem with this approach is simple: no two people are the same. There is no one diet that is healthy for everyone. We all have different dietary needs and requirements.
I’m a hiker, I love to be outdoors, and I never turn down a trip for ice cream. I am and always have been passionate about health, fitness, and creating a lifestyle I feel good about. Growing up as a dancer, I was always fascinated by the potential food had on not only how I physically felt, but my athletic performance. That very same fascination is what led me to my training in the gym. I'm able to use food as a tool to build muscle and gain strength. Over the years I’ve found a balance between eating healthy and getting active… that I actually enjoy. Whether I’m in the gym trying to hit a new PR, out peak-bagging the White Mountains, or cooking up a new recipe in the kitchen, I’ve found a lifestyle that I’m loving every second of! As a sports dietitian, I now work to help other people improve their performance and reach their goals.
I advocate for a balanced lifestyle without restriction. Unsustainable diets and workout regimens are what keeps us in the weight loss and gain cycle. Through my practice, I take an individualized approach to health so my clients can find something that is effective, sustainable, and works for them individually. I help people fuel their workouts, lose weight (while keeping it off), and leave behind the food guilt.
